HOW to use Qolabra

Qolabra enables you to develop COLLABORATION PLANS that will help keep relationships fresh, focused and facilitate discussion on making a positive impact. These collaboration plans should act as a ‘pulse check’ on progress, and a trigger for ideas to come.

Unlike other relationship or performance management tools, Qolabra powers you to LOOK FORWARD (not backward) and work effectively together, across organisations, at any point in time. It creates a space to agree shared objectives, discuss the key enablers, capture value driven ideas, document actions, recognise achievements, invite key stakeholders and track progress over time. To wave goodbye to lengthy, unstructured conversations with key supply partners, …..start building your Collaboration Plans now. Here is a short summary of the steps to take:

  • Step 1 – Identify your key external partnerships that are crucial to keeping the Business going and thriving.
  • Step 2 – Create a Plan for each, either using a template or starting from scratch.
  • Step 3 - Invite contributors to you Plan, either as ‘editors’ or ‘viewers’.
  • Step 4 – Have a kick-off meeting to align and agree on key Objectives for the partnership
  • Step 5 – Agree time period for Plan, and frequency of Plan reviews
  • Step 6 – Score your progress against the Objectives every time you have a Review. Note: this should be an agreed joint score and the value is in the discussion.
  • Step 7 – Encourage usage outside of the structured Reviews, to capture ideas, actions, store documents, recognise the team - so that everything is in one place
  • Step 8 - Use the Plan to identify priority focus areas, trigger conversations on barriers and opportunities.
  • Step 9 – Refresh the Plan or create a new Plan once nearing completion
  • Step 10 – Watch as your Partnerships flourish and keep raising the bar

  • The scoring is important, but not as important as the discussion. Use it to tease out differences, listen to perspectives, and re-align. Remember, it is a reflection on the Partnership as whole.
  • Frequent utilisation and structured reviews are the key to success. Don’t let your Plans get rusty, stale and forgotten about.
  • Be bold in your future aspirations! If a Plan reaches its completion easily and speedily… more ambitious objectives should be considered.
  • View Plans across your organisation. See what is working elsewhere, keep learning and adapting your Plans to ensure progress.
